Screendrop is a native, open-source Mac app for screenshots, screen recordings, editing, and self-hosted sharing. It brings the whole workflow into one app. It is an open-source alternative to Loom that stays out of your way.

The app is literally 6.3 mb, fyi.

How you use it

  1. Press a shortcut to capture a display, window, or selected area
  2. Use the floating preview to copy, save, pin, annotate, or upload
  3. Polish screenshots or open recordings in the non-destructive Studio
  4. Export locally or share through your own Cloudflare account
